This is an impromptu post because I forgot I didn’t write or schedule any content for today. So how about an update on my week thus far.
My Work Week
This week was not as busy as last week but, it was still filled. I’ve been wrapping up loose ends from last week’s enrollment promotion period at work and trying to start my month-end report. Most of the stuff from last week is complete and, I’ve begun my report. But I’m not as far along in that as I’d like. So I made an extra effort to leave home earlier this morning.
After work, except for Monday, I’ve been walking around my neighbourhood to give product samples. It’s been an interesting and actually enjoyable experience. You get to meet new people and make new friends or at least be friendlier with people. It is definitely helping me to become more confident and bold, not boldfaced.
Although I’m enjoying the marketing part of the business, I’m not that into the networking aspect of going out to find partners. I think if they show up looking for something more then, you can extend the opportunity. I honestly don’t have the time or don’t want to invest the time in building a team and helping them grow. I’m still growing myself. But we’ll see.
I’ve been brainstorming what to do about my newsletter and the type of content to share. I’d like to publish it bi-weekly on Sundays instead of monthly to maintain a frequent connection. I’ll be sharing resources and tips, and freebies. We can chat back and forth as well. Maybe I’ll do a content round-up. Email marketing is a great way to stay connected to your audience and provide exclusive offers to your most dedicated followers.
Social media blackout
What was your reaction when Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook went down at the start of the week?
It made me think about my content creator life. I need to broaden my online presence so that we have multiple ways of connecting. A great way to do that is to repurpose content across various platforms.
Anyway that’s it for today. I’ll properly post tomorrow. Also I might change my publishing days to Thursdays and Saturdays instead.
Thank you for reading.
