“The Hustle”

To be honest, I am feeling uninspired and not in the mood to write anything this week. I usually reserve my writing to Saturdays because I work Monday to Friday, from 8am to 4pm every day. My commute is an hour and a half, sometimes two-hours mornings and evenings. That’s three to four hours of commuting daily. Most days I listen to a podcast or two, read or learn something new such as Japanese or take a Skillshare class, though I have been neglecting both recently.

Saturdays I focus on the activities I am interested in, like writing blog posts or reviewing books I have read. I used to wonder how I could make an income reading books, which I love to do, then I got referred to Online Book Club for Readers website from a friend. You can become part of their review team, read books and get paid for it. I have only started this recently, and I’m enjoying the experience.

It has been a struggle to juggle work and create something of my own, doing the things I love. There is so much I want to do and the hours in the day just seem to fly by. Need to work on my self-management, reframe and link all my activities together. Create a brand for myself, I guess. Get better at promoting and create a framework to achieve my goals. I have ideas, but I need to focus and get them outlined.

Lol. It must be strange saying this when the focus of my blog is on personal development and continuous learning. Well, I never said I was an expert, just a woman documenting her journey of self-improvement.

Anyway, I know I’m rambling and this post is probably not making sense, but that’s how I am feeling right now. I am all over the place. This week has been tiring. I had a topic in mind to discuss, however, that will be next week’s post. I’m not focused enough, too tired and stressed to do anything productive this weekend.

Today I have some questions for you, my lovely readers. I thank you for following and appreciate you taking time to read, like and or comment on my posts.

How do you manage all your daily tasks, demands and commitments while trying to make a purposeful life for yourself?

Do you work a full-time job and blog on the side or are you a full-time blogger?

Any tips for a new blogger like me?

Would love some recommendations on how to promote my blog posts on Instagram?

Do you edit and proofread your own posts, and if so, I would appreciate some tips?

Thank you for reading.
